SACE International Accreditation Application 

Instructions for Completion

This application expands on the domains introduced in the Expression of Interest (EOI) and requires detailed information and supporting evidence. Responses should address each criterion clearly and include all requested documentation. Ensure submissions are accurate, complete, and aligned to your school’s planned delivery of the SACE International program.

It will be used to confirm the school's suitability for delivering the SACE. The form is divided into five areas and covers Strategic Alignment, Governance, Program Sustainability, Operational Capability, and Educational Experience.

Please ensure you answer all questions in full. Should you require any assistance in completing the application, or if you would like a PDF copy of all application questions in advance to assist with allocating sections to relevant personnel within your organisation (such as the ICT Director, Education Director, Board of Directors, or other key staff), please email sace.international@sa.gov.au

Receiving the questions in advance may assist your preparation for the final upload and submission of the application.

2. Governance

The SACE Board works in partnership with schools to uphold the highest standards of integrity by being focused on prevention, detection, and investigation of potential breaches. Assessment and academic integrity means assessment is based on the work students have produced without undue assistance from other people or sources. Outline what policies and procedures are in place. If these are a work in process, indicate this is the case.

3. Program Sustainability

Address the plan for growth, financial profitability, and sustainability.
Include the name of bank used by the school and routing numbers (also called IBAN, SWIFT, RTN, ABA, BSB...etc.)

4. Operational Capability - ICT Survey

Describe the school’s IT review process and the strategies for adapting IT infrastructure to accommodate school growth.

Address issues that could arise during the e-exam practice window or during exams. Who supports students?
In the case of students using their own devices, how does the school manage tech tools? Schools can push out security for exams via a deployment tool. Does the school have a layer of security/control if permitting student devices? How does the school control or support that process?


4. Operational Capability

Consider pathways that encourage tertiary entrance and the ability to hire teachers in these subject areas. Reminder: the Northern Hemisphere has a limited subject offering relative to the Southern Hemisphere.


5. Education Experience
