After the 14 November submission deadline, the Governor's Commendation panel will meet to consider all nominations.

Successful award recipients will be contacted on SACE results release day, 15 December.

Nominating schools will be contacted by Friday 19 December.

Successful award recipients have their achievements publicly recognised, and are presented with their commendation by Her Excellency, The Governor of South Australia at the SACE Merit Ceremony held at Government House in February 2026.
